| Here some pics from my install. Over all easy install. I used my stainless bolts that I already had installed, not the bolts in the kit. My kit is raw metal so I could powdercoat it chrome myself. I installed it to make sure everything fit fine. Haven't really touched the car since the SZ dyno day back last summer so the engine bay is still a mess and not put back together. Been wanting a kit like this for a long time. Some of you remember at the Dallas Zcon that the wind caught my hood at the car show and lifted it off the stock prop and then came slamming down pinching the hood prop between the hood and fender. Messed up the paint a little. Had a few other instances where I happen to catch it. Since then I've been using a few strips of duct tape to hold it in place. Not that good looking :). This kit will be great to use at car shows and track days.

Here's the only issue I had with the bolts. Because of the hood bolt I was using (not oem stock or the kit bolts) I had to screw the pivot section of the kit onto the bracket after it was installed as it wouldn't clear if I did it the other way. Not that big deal at all.

Deff needs some foam under them. You can see how its digging into the paint a little as they do flex. It comes with some but its really thin and I think I'll use a little thicker stuff. Didn't put any on yet as I would have to strip it right back off to powdercoat them.
Had my other TT in the garage. Not the best pics but here are some comparisons to the opening differences (hood strut Z is in the background, stock is the closer hood) Normal stock opening postion
The 2nd stock position. It's close to being open the same amount but its still slightly less.
